My name is Carolina, and I founded the Amayas Ayahuasca Center in Ecuador. Although I am originally from the Czech Republic, I live in Ecuador.

I have extensive experience with Ayahuasca medicine, having visited many centers and shamans in Peru and Ecuador.

I started building the center thanks to Ayahuasca medicine, which directed me to mediate everything and help other people heal, but also the locals who work with me.

Why did I choose Ecuador for my Ayahuasca retreats and not Peru?

With regard to Ayahuasca ceremonies, there is absolutely no difference between Ecuador and Peru. The basis is a powerful shaman and well-brewed Ayahuasca. There are more shamans in Peru than here in Ecuador, but there are also countless scammers and centers who only do business with bad intentions. Peru is now very commercial.

When I first came to Ecuador, I immediately fell in love with the powerful nature that is here. You will find mountains, ocean, jungle. All in one country. Our location in Ecuador is special because you not only undergo a treatment program here, at the same time, you will experience many different activities that are located nearby and you will simply feel like you are in another world. Amayas Ecuador made sense to me, and  I hope it will to you as well.

The ayahuasca retreats I have created are very special in terms of their content and combination of shamans. They include unique tours in the area, every day is different.

Throughout the entire expedition, I am in charge of everything and undergo ceremonies led by very powerful shamans, with whom I myself have undergone a huge transformation.

Small group = family, friendly atmosphere

Each of you is personally taken care of before and during the trip. The retreat take place in small groups (maximum of 8 people) so there is a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere during the journey.

Often a group forms during the expeditions, which regularly gathers and travels together.

 

We offer a program full of interesting activities

I dare to say that with this service we (Amayas Ecuador) are very different from all other Ayahuasca centers. When I spent time in Ayahuasca centers, I noticed that the clients were quite bored during the days, so I decided to include interesting and fun activities in the program in the surrounding area. When you’re already going to another country, why not see a little of it?
We, Amayas Ecuador, offer a 7- and 11-day retreats, where the 7-day retreat is more relaxing with a few activities and the 11-day retreat includes a large number of activities. Each activity is unique and completely different.
We are very grateful that these activities are close to our center and we can offer them to you.

Most of the ceremonies are led by our head shaman Luis – an exceptionally strong and respected healer with a deep knowledge of Amazonian medicine. However, I have taken the utmost care in selecting shamans, and therefore you will find only the most experienced and reliable in our team. All of our shamans have the ability to heal not only on a spiritual level, but also to help with serious illnesses that modern medicine often cannot cope with. Thanks to this, you can be sure that your ceremony, at Amayas Ecuador, will be led by a strong and proven shaman, whom you can fully trust.

We (Amayas Ecuador) want your ceremonies to be as effective as possible, which is why we send you dietary instructions and all the important information you need to know before the ceremony.

You don’t have to worry about anything during the retreat. Accommodation, transportation, meals, translator, program – everything is arranged. You will just enjoy Ecuador and a program full of activities prepared for you!

It is worth mentioning that the vast majority of locals will try to get as much money out of you as possible. This will not happen with us.

About me

My name is Karolína and I was born on a September day in Czech Republic, Příbram.

Before I met Ayahuasca, my life was completely different. That is why I will try to bring you my journey. I believe it will motivate you to take a step forward, resolve your past and find your new self.

My relationship with my mother was never quite ideal. When I turned 18, I moved in with my boyfriend at the time and cut off all contact with my family. We haven’t seen each other until today. Later I found an escape in drugs. At first I enjoyed it, but over time my life turned into hell. It was full of toxic relationships and people who pretended to be friends but were actually just taking advantage of me. Sincerely? I never really had any real friends. As soon as someone entered my life, they also took something from it – usually a piece of my energy. It gradually weakened and along with it the belief in sincerity and kindness. Faith in goodness. In the second. In yourself.

Life took a heavy toll on me at times, and the heavier the load, the more I sought solace in drugs. I suddenly felt burnt out. I fell into depression and withdrew into myself. I didn’t want to see anyone. I was sick. Inside I was fighting my own demons, pain, fear and sadness. I wanted to live like before. I wanted to laugh again, but it was getting worse. It took almost 2 years.

Ayahuasca will call you when you need it most

It was a day like any other. I was browsing the internet and came across information about Ayahuasca. I’ve never heard of her before, so I can’t even tell you how I came across her. I take it as a sign. Maybe fate. And maybe this is how the universe planned it for me. It was time to finally find help and bounce back from the bottom. Something inside told me that this is exactly what I should do now. But I didn’t expect that it would change my life from the ground up. At first I was afraid and I couldn’t find support even in my surroundings. “Don’t drive, you’ll go crazy.” They said. The calling was much stronger and I finally followed my heart and intuition. I didn’t want to live like this and I couldn’t.

For two months, I sat on a plane to Ecuador. All alone. I longed to stop using drugs, get out of depression, clear my mind, gain energy and most importantly – find out who I really am. Because somewhere along the way of life I forgot it. I immediately fell in love with Ecuador. The energy this country has is incredible. Local culture, people, a different way of life. Ease.

 

About the way to yourself

I underwent the first ceremony, and without realizing it, my priorities were suddenly elsewhere, I perceived a new energy and felt a lightness that I had missed so much. After returning to the Czech Republic, I decided to continue. I knew I needed a lot more ceremonies to get what I originally came to Ecuador for. To find myself.
And so I came back, this time to Peru. I participated in other ceremonies, met new shamans and gained the necessary experience. My habits began to change, as did my lifestyle. I saw my future during the ceremonies.
Ecuador suddenly became my home and I felt inside that I belonged here. Do you know that feeling? It was intense.
Artificial eyelashes, nails and hair. Everything suddenly seemed so far away.

I believe we can die and be born again, just like butterflies. That it is through Ayahuasca that we can undergo the process of our own change and transformation. I also finally realized that all these years, it wasn’t me. I was just lying to myself about my happiness and finally the time has come to admit it. Drop this pose.

I have always known that I have a good heart and I also believe that everything that has happened in my life has a reason. But… why am I even telling you this? Maybe you too are dealing with something in your life that seems unbearable at first glance. Maybe you also got lost somewhere along the way. Maybe you wake up in the morning with tears in your eyes, like I did.
With this project, at Amayas Ecuador, I want to help you know your essence. Look inside and find a person there who has a chance to start over. Put away what no longer serves you. Traumas, addictions or depressive feelings.

I put a lot of care into Amayas Ecuador project. It is intended for everyone who wants to join me on the journey of self-discovery. I have met a number of shamans to choose the best ones for you. I am fully aware of my responsibility and I greatly appreciate your trust.

The huge transformation I went through is proof of how Ayahuasca can help. I feel that spreading this sacred medicine is my mission and I am incredibly happy to be able to help you too.
